Journal of Special Education in the Asia Pacific (JSEAP)

The Asia-Pacific International Seminar on Special Education, transformed from APEID Seminar, had the 25th anniversary in 2005. On this quarter of century anniversary as an opportunity, we launch the publication of "Journal of Special Education in the Asia Pacific (JSEAP)" in order to enhance exchange of information and contribute to development on Special Education for children with disabilities in the Asia-Pacific region, utilizing the network of the participated countries and the participants, which have been accumulated through the said seminars.

The following four countries take turns each year to work as chief editor of the year based on guideline for publication.

Japan, China, Malaysia, and Korea.

However, the chief editor for Journal of Special Education in the Asia Pacific Volume 1~5 was NISE (Japan), based on the supplement and discussion. Also, NISE will be the next chief editor of Vol.6 after discussion at the 29th Asia-Pacific International Seminar on Education for Individuals with Special Needs in Dec.2009.
