第1回 台湾ICF及びICF-CY研究会議参加報告
2011年3月26～27日、本研究の一環として台湾の台北市で開催された台湾ICF及びICF-CY研究会議（The First National ICF and ICF-CY Conferences and Workshops）に参加しました。同会議は、台湾における早期療育に関する組織とリハビリテーションに関する組織によって開催されたもので、WHOのICF-CY（国際生活機能分類児童版）のワーキンググループ議長を務めた、アメリカノースカロライナ大学R.J.Simeonsson教授による講義、台湾の参加者による研究発表及び協議が行われました。

主催者によると、「台湾でのICF及びICF-CYの活用は始まって2年目であり、まだまだこれから」とのことでしたが、様々な活用や研究の取組について口頭発表6本、ポスター発表18本が行われ、活発な議論が交わされました。口頭発表とポスター発表のタイトルは以下のとおりです。

本会議では、取組の内容だけでなく、主催者及び参加者の熱意や英語力の高さ等も含め、参考になるところが多い会議でした。
本研究「特別支援教育におけるICF-CYの活用に関する研究−活用のための方法試案の実証と普及を中心に−」では、日本の特別支援教育実践におけるICF/ICF-CY【活用】を支援するために、現場で多く活用され、また特別支援学校学習指導要領解説書の中でも推奨されている概念モデルベースの活用を中心に据えて取組んでいますが、これまで出席したICF/ICF-CY国際会議同様、概念モデルを基本としながらも、ICF/ICF-CYの分類項目及び評価点を用いた多職種間連携のための活用という取組が、世界の大きな流れであることをあらためて認識しました。したがって、今後も台湾を含めた各国の関係者との研究交流を持ちながら、先を見据える視野も持ちつつ、研究を進めていきたいと思います。
